Grampa Jones

Grampa Jones and my Dad always enjoyed their occasional bottle of beer. I guess it was getting this early start that made me less of a beer drinker. Now that I am a Grampa I'll have to see what influences I can bring to the little ones.

I know this picture is old but how old is that car? I don't remember living in that era. The first car that I remember my Dad owning was a 1949 Monarch...it was a monster of a car. He had to build side curbs along our house and our neighbours house so that he could get the car safely along the driveway between the two houses and into the garage at the back of our house. Posted by Picasa

Based on your age, it was before my Dad bought the 1920-something Star.(The Green Hornet) I seem to remember your Dad had a Hudson at one point.
I think we can rule out the Henry J.

Hi Brian,
May Dad alway told me about making beer for Great Grandpa Jones in the bathtub every week. Then he'd bring his friends over and it was Dad's job to clean up the spit tobacco and worse in the morning. He said he didn't mind because he also cleaned up all the change that everyone dropped. I remember Grandpa Jones very well. Nice to see that picture.
