Welcome to BeeJay's Blog. Not sure yet whether I'll offer opinions on sex, politics, religion, or sports but might try posting some pictures once in awhile. Thanks for looking! BJ Please feel free to enter 'comments' under any of the postings!

1.4 Million Lights
Tonight we went to view the beautiful light display at the VanDusen Gardens in Vancouver. The lights provided quite an impressive display but I think Teo and Jacob had more fun being transported around. There were 1.4 Million lights but as you can see, the boys were only interested in the one light that they could touch.

Merry Christmas!!!
This Santa Claus was my Mom and Dad's for several years and then we inherited it. We're thinking it is about 50 years old and he comes out every Christmas just like the real guy. He's one of those Christmas decorations that just lasts and lasts....no batteries! (I hope no one is offended by the "HoHoHo" cheer he is spreading)

An Extended Summer Cruise
In 2001, Tricia and I went on an extended cruise up the BC Coast.
This is a short account of that trip.

Teo's Birthday
Poor little Teo was sick on his birthday, so he never got his cake, the family dinner party was "eat when you can", his Birthday parties were re-scheduled and canceled twice. All who attended the family Birthday dinner came down with the flu and I guess in a way could say they shared in Teo's un-Happy Birthday!!! As shown in the photo he did get to open his presents along the way and all are well now!

My Sister the "Artist"
My sister Dorothy lived in Milton, Ontario and spent a good part of her time painting and helping others to learn some of the techniques she worked well with. She painted this beautifull "tall ship" oil painting for me and unfortuanately the photo does very little to show the excellence that it is. Dorothy passed away last week but being an artist, her paintings will remain with many family and friends as a reminder of her forever.
Remembering Cpl. John Duncan Jones
On the internet there is a site dedicated to the 4th CMR with whom my Dad served and was wounded during the First World War.
You can read a short article about him by clicking on the following link....

Booker Dolphins
click......... Booker Dolphins
This was one of our more exciting encounters with nature. These two porpoises were apparently "scared" into this place called Booker Lagoon and so they stayed their all year. When us boaters came in they seemed to have enjoyed the company and came and played with us for awhile. Quite exciting!!!
