Lest We Forget

A picture of my Dad in uniform. He was just 16 when he joined the army and went overseas. (WW1 ...1915) He does look pretty young. He was wounded but remained in the army and in Europe until the end of the war. (Nov. 11th, 1918)

John and Ernie Brick

At Expo 86 we purchased a 'brick' dedicated to our dads, "John and Ernie Jones", who had both passed away a few years earlier. These bricks eventually were layed down as part of this old train display at the "Roundhouse" in downtown Vancouver. Today when I was exploring our new skytrain line from Richmond to Vancouver I stopped in at the Roundhouse and found the brick.
