These pictographs are found in many areas along the BC coast and form part of the history of the Native people. The one in the bottom right hand corner is in Kingcome Inlet and is a modern day "experiment" in an effort to determine how and what the original paintings were made of. Some at the top depict European carts and ships which would suggest they were painted sometime after the European settlers/explorers arrived.
