Sean's First Doctors Visit

Sean was having a great time until the Doc brought out the needles....he took it like a trooper. Jacob tried hiding under the examining room table but it wasn't his turn and he was dismissed before the needles came out.

Sleepovers at Grandma's

Posted by Picasa

Jacob and Teo had recent "sleepovers" at Grandma's. They slept in our Murphy Bed which they think is kind of neat in that the bed comes out of the wall. I just hope it doesn't go back up with these light weights sleeping on it.

Christmas Cactus

Our Christmas Cactus flowered a couple of weeks late but sure produces a pretty flower!!! The cactus is quite young, a gift from Yoko in 2006, and this was it's only flower this year.

Signing the Olympic Oval Roof

Jacob and Teo signed there names on the Olympic Oval Roof today. The skating oval for the 2010 games is under construction in Richmond and this weekend they invited everyone to sign their names on the roof and hopefully provide good luck to the competing Canadian Atheletes....GOOD LUCK!!!

Actually they had the last panel to be placed on the roof down at city hall for the signings...ie.we weren't actually up on the roof.

1.4 Million Lights

Tonight we went to view the beautiful light display at the VanDusen Gardens in Vancouver. The lights provided quite an impressive display but I think Teo and Jacob had more fun being transported around. There were 1.4 Million lights but as you can see, the boys were only interested in the one light that they could touch.

Teo's School Bus

Try to imagine a room full of two year olds, five days a week, as your choice of employment. Congrats to the girls who run these Day Care Centres!!! Photographer did a pretty good job of getting them all to stand still for the picture.

Merry Christmas!!!

This Santa Claus was my Mom and Dad's for several years and then we inherited it. We're thinking it is about 50 years old and he comes out every Christmas just like the real guy. He's one of those Christmas decorations that just lasts and lasts....no batteries! (I hope no one is offended by the "HoHoHo" cheer he is spreading)
